Manufacturing for innovative sensors and electronics
The SPS is the leading trade fair for electronic automation in Europe. From 27 to 29 November 2018 in Nuremberg, the GHM GROUP will showcase their advisory skills for top-quality modular measurement, control and regulation solutions. Visitors can experience the flexibility and performance with which the GHM GROUP is capable of implementing individual customer requests and ideas for individual industrial sectors. It makes no difference whether it involves small series, long production runs or even device adaptations.
New modular solutions and security according to the highest standards
From the industrial business sector, the GHM GROUP presents a new modular measuring and control system with which 19" cards or compact devices for the widest range of tasks in measuring, control and regulation technology can be developed. Torsten Obermann, Product Manager at the Center of Competence Imtron sums it up for the new modular system, 'If you want to get things moving in the world of measurement, control and regulation, you must first move yourself. Therefore, we combined our hardware and software expertise to develop a modular system that translates our customers' individual ideas even more quickly in to products for practical applications.'
In this spirit, the GHM GROUP will present two tailor-made customer solutions based on the new system at the SPS. An additional point of focus is the field of SIL (Safety Integrity Level) and ATEX (Atmosphere Explosible) equipment safety technology.
Safety-TL4896 – safety in accordance with SIL2
The Safety-TL4896 safety temperature limiter presented at the SPS fulfils all requirements of EN 14597, EN 61508 and SIL2. It is the first and only switch panel safety monitor suitable for direct installation in the control panel or the switch cabinet door. Because configuration takes place directly via buttons on the front display, no additional software is required. With the adjustable pre-alarm, unnecessary downtimes can be prevented before the limit value is reached. The additional analogue output also saves an additional measurement chain for the control unit.
UBX flow monitor – precise measurement under extreme conditions
An additional emphasis is the combination of reliable flow measurement, efficiency, safety and process optimisation in efficient products. With the new UBX flow monitor, the GHM GROUP presents a device that reliably monitors the cooling flow of low-viscosity media in the cooling circuit via paddle switch. Not only does it meet all common standards and quality requirements, it is also specifically designed for a guaranteed low-temperature range of -50 °C – ideal for use in the cooling circuit of transformers for wind power plants, cooling systems, CHP heating concepts, the electrical industry and in traction transformers for rolling stock.
